Photos and Songs

Each Sunday on the @365in2023 Twitter group we have a little music and photos challenge, combining photos with lyrics.

Here are four of my recent inputs. The captions on the pictures below have the lyrics and most of the songs will probably be familiar, but can you guess them?

So don’t be afraid to let it show
Your true colours
True colours are beautiful
Like a rainbow
Sometimes my burden is more than I can bear.
It’s not dark yet, but it’s getting there
I seen a girl on a one way corridor,
stealing down a wrong way street.
For all the world like an urban toreador she had wheels on, on her feet
You were working as a waitress in a cocktail bar, when I met you

You don’t bring me flowers…

For some reason, I don’t take photos of flowers anymore. Then last week we visited Percival Gardens in North Yorkshire and I couldn’t help myself; the variety and beauty of the flowers on display caught my eye.

I was using my Fujifilm X-Pro3 with the 90mm and 23mm lenses for these photos. I doubt flower photography will become a regular thing but it’s always nice to do something a bit different.
